Heh, sort of, officially it's a tradition dating back to the pre-Roman times, big (and no campfires, I mean big, about 10 meters high) bonfires are lit. Children have a lampionparade, and lit the fire with the lights from the lampion. There's alway music and beer, lots off beer... :)
